Congratulations to the winners of the Junior Athlete Award, Matthew Timson (1:14:10) and Celia Sullohern (1:17:26).

Michael Shelley, race ambassador and 2012 London Olympics marathoner, fired the starting gun at 6.45am for the 21.1km event as participants took off on the course that wove its way from St Mary’s Cathedral and past some of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks, before finishing at Hyde Park’s Archibald Fountain.
